Metal Recycling
Wilfley wet tables – developed from the minerals industry to provide a useful tool in the metals recycling markets
Full size model 7000 and smaller 3000 models have for many years been adopted for the recovery of copper from reprocessing of used electrical cable.
More recently – the increase in European (and global ) interest in recycling has produced the “WEEE” directives (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) – driving producer companies to establish recognised processes to reduce landfill and to promote the recycle of metals and plastics.
New installations are being established throughout Europe and the UK to process high grade electronics (personal computers, mobile phones etc.,), for the recovery of fine copper containing other valuable metals (eg gold, platinum).
