Fine Minerals
Holman tables – are world recognised as the ultimate gravity table for fine mineral separation, and "close density" mineral separations. From established acceptance in gold, tin, chromite & tantalum , these units have more recently shown considerable importance in heavy mineral processing flowsheets (eg, zircon, ilmenite, rutile etc..) Holman technology originally developed from the “James” table and further extensively developed in Cornwall for tin applications by “Holman Brothers” – and has become a world standard in fine minerals applications, which many competitors strive to match. Holman mechanical drive provides a unique stroke feature – to provide a particle “lift” in the thin film fluidised slurry on the deck surface. This enhances the separation characteristics of fine and close density minerals in suspension. This particle action is combined with a unique (application specific) deck surface riffle design, running diagonally in combination with the deck stroke. The end result is separation performance no other unit can match and surprisingly high upgrade potential.
